3. Messages through Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp
When you message our Facebook Page or WhatsApp number, Meta passes your message, your name and the ID Meta gives you to our customer system, AgentDesk, so our staff can read and reply to it. We use these messages only to answer you and to look after your account. We don’t use them for advertising. Meta’s own handling of your data is covered by Meta’s privacy policy.
4. Who we share it with
We share only what’s needed, with:
– network and service suppliers who provide your services (for example mobile networks, broadband and telephony wholesalers);
– GoCardless (Direct Debit payments) and Intuit QuickBooks (invoicing and accounts);
– Meta (WhatsApp and Messenger), and our email provider, for messages;
– DocuSeal (signing contracts online) and Zapier (connecting our systems);
– our website and system hosting providers;
– our accountants, and authorities where the law requires it.
We don’t sell your personal information.
5. Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved contract clauses to protect it.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account, contract and billing records for six years after you stop being a customer, because tax and accounting law requires it. Support messages and notes are kept while you’re a customer and for up to two years after. We delete or anonymise information we no longer need.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. Email su*****@***********co.uk. We’ll reply within one month.
8. Deleting your data, including Messenger and WhatsApp messages
To ask us to delete your information, email su*****@***********co.uk or send us a message on Messenger or WhatsApp saying “Please delete my data”. We’ll confirm who you are, delete your messages and personal information within 30 days, and tell you when it’s done. We may need to keep some billing records for the legal period above.
9. Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
